The Film: What the Bleep Do we Know!? -The new version: Down the Rabbit Hole - The Philadelphia Area Bleep Study Group
The film, What the Bleep do We Know hit the main stream movie theaters & art movie house theaters across the country starting in early 2003. This film was an overnight success surprising the Hollywood distributors who turned it down because they didn’t believe there was a market for this unique type film.
In the Philadelphia area it played in Pheonixville, The Ritz 5 in Center City, the Bala Movie Theater and in the Doylestown area. The film is a quirky cinematic look at the intersection of science and spirituality. This film cannot be categorized into a typical Hollywood genre as it deals with topics usually relegated to books like quantum mechanics, the effects of human emotions on the molecular and chemical levels of the body, neuro transmitters in the brain, the pattern of nerve receptors wiring together in the brain, and synchronicity. For those individuals who were ready for a film like this that linked science, spirituality, synchronicity, human emotion and the relationship of entanglement this was a break through film setting a new standard in film experience that could lead individuals into a more clear understanding of paradigm shift in consciousness taking place in the scientific communities as a result of a new interdisciplinary approach now being embraced in many fields of study. Viewers discovered that when large groups of individuals saw this film they desired to see it again and again and to form discussion study groups to learn together in more depth about the concepts presented in the film.
There began a new communication buzz among certain like minded groups across the country that flocked to see this film communicating with the film producers requesting special screenings of the film as it was unavailable in many parts of the country, and information about the film was hard to access except thru the web in 2003.
This extreme interest in this film gave rise to a What the Bleep conference in California Feb 4th 5th & 6th of 2005, at the Loews Hotel in Santa Monica. Pictures to the right are from this conference.
Many of the Ph. D. scientists who appeared in the film presented in depth lectures, power point presentations, graphs, scientific study results surrounding their level of expertise in quantum mechanics, Nero biology, psychology, & a new biological approach to understanding medicine. In addition some of actors who appeared in the film also made special surprise appearances delighting an audience that numbered 1200 about the impact making this film had on their own personal lives. The first conference was such an overwhelming success it was repeated in several other countries around the country over the past year.
Jennifer W. Stein, was ready for this film and ready for the conference which followed. After attending the Feb. 4th 2005 conference in Santa Monica California last year with her husband Michael, she made contact with the producers to secure a copy of the film before it was available for sale to the general public in order to host a screening at the Memorial Library of Radnor Township for those who had missed the film at the local theaters. This was one of the first Public Libraries in the country to host a screening of the film free to the public. The library retains a copy for viewing.
Jennifer Explains “ I dragged several friends to see the film numerous times while it was at the Ritz 5 in Philadelphia in December of 2004. When I learned there was a conference planned in California I knew I had to be there”. A filmmaker herself working on a film on crop circles that required two west cost interviews Stein said. “I was able to arranged some other business to combine a business trip with pleasure so I could get out there and attend this conference.” The photos to the right are form this conference.
Stein was one of about 50 people around the country who kept close contact with the film office and the producers and was recently invited to start a local Philadelphia area Bleep Study group in her own community to link like minded people together for further explorations of these topics, and to plan special screenings of the first and the new version of the film which is now available entitled What the Bleep do we know? Down the Rabbit Hole.
Stein folded an existing group she had developed under the Umbrella of Noetic Sciences and Mutual UFO Network, (See home page for links to these non profit groups) into an expanded group to Include the “Bleepers”. The areas of interest and study all examine the physical world around us from a broader perspective, taking a larger field of possibilities into account as causation
for the phenomenon which is all around us, effecting us, creating us on a daily basis.
Jennifer Stein, in cooperation with other “cultural creative” people in the suburban main line area of Philadelphia invite any one interested in the opportunity to host special screening of this film as a fund raiser for your organization. You may visit the site for the film. www.whatthebleep.com and find screenings on the left hand side of the site for more details, in addition contact jennifer Stein who will gladly facilitate the screening and help to promote the event by posting the details on this site. Jennifer is a former event planner who transformed into a philanthropic social change documentary film maker. Therefore she appreciate good films and can help your promote this one
This new film version of What the Bleep down the Rabbit Hole, is much improved version over the original film with only 20 minutes of
original footage. Ninety minutes of new footage has been added which includes new scientific explanations in more vivid detail with added animation and new researchers presenting for the viewer a compelling opportunity to see our actual reality at the quantum level. The film provides a fresh new insight with a scientific structure for all of us to understand what effects our emotions and intentions have on our own bio-physiology. Quantum mechanical concepts like the Molecules of Emotion, and The Hidden
Messages in Water, and the theory of
Entanglement, are included in more vivid detail. This version will not be released to most main stream movie theaters as the first version was. Down the Rabbit Hole will only be available for viewing thru special screening venues like this one. To see a trailer of the New version Down the Rabbit Hole visit: www.whatthebleep.com/trailer/
